Region II consisting of 8 Districts met on June 28-29 at the Marriot Hotel near the Los Angeles
Airport. It was hosted by District 1. On Saturday the winner of the International Speech Contest was James E. Tucker. Fun night, on Friday, each of the District Humorous contest winners gave their speeches. The contestants were not voted on but gave these as entertainment only.
